Naming Optional Enrichment Before You Ship
If engineers cannot tell which properties wait for consent, tags will quietly over-collect again.
Privacy-safe event design fails in the handoff. A taxonomy that lives only in a slide deck will not survive the next sprint. Give every property a consent class: essential, gated, or banned.
Document the banner states that unlock gated enrichment. Add a QA step that rejects a release when gated fields fire before acceptance. Small naming discipline prevents months of cleanup later.
